PGS Subtitles don't move with video - bug?
#1
To be clear, I'm not talking about manually positioning PGS subtitles. I understand Kodi doesn't allow for explicit positioning of image based subtitles.

My issue is what I consider a bug. Due to my home theater only having bottom masking, I routinely shift my 2.35:1 videos up by -0.75 (or -1.1 if the black bars are encoded into the video). Since I'm shifting the whole viewport, I would expect the PGS subtitle positioning to be calculated with that shift being accounted for, but they don't, thus falling on my mask and being not easy to see. Shouldn't everything rendered honor the vertical shift directive?

After some more testing, this only happens for files where the black bars are cropped out of the video. So, when a 1920x816 video is shifted up by -0.75, the bug shows up. If a 1920x1080 video, with the black bars encoded onto the image, is shifted up by -1.1, the subtitles move as expected.
