The following builtin functions have been removed

LIRC.Start
LIRC.Stop

but I still need that functionality. I launch my browser from kodi with I control using irexec, but when I press my remote Kodi still reacts to it. Is there a way to temporarily stop kodi from doing that?

In case somebody is interested. My solution was to ditch Lirc and use ir-keytable. I now control the browser using xbindkeys.
