I have installed Kodi this weekend and it's awesome. It works nice with SMB shared drives so I didn't have to change anything and can watch my movies.
There is one issue though - one of the shared folders does not seem to produce any content in Kodi. I can browse the folder in Kodi file explorer and play the videos directly, but the titles do not seem to load into the media database and do not show in the TV Shows section.
Is there a way to troubleshoot when particular files are not scanned correctly? Like could I run a command to tell me what was the result of scanning a particular file/folder? Or could I add some JSON/XML file describing contents of a video/file to get Kodi to correctly understand what show it is?
I also have some movies mislabeled, but again I don't know how to rename the file to get Kodi to label it correctly.
