Hi. I have a problem with Kodi and LG smart TV. I've set up ftp server in my house and, in another location, set a network share (ftp server) as a file source in Kodi. I can perfectly access my movies both in library and file mode. I've also set up Kodi as a dlna server in "system/services/upnp/dlna" (all options checked). LG tv supports DLNA protocol and I can see Kodi media server and movies (both library and files folders). Unfortunately, when I try to play the movies, after a few seconds I'm getting the message "file is corrupted". When I play the same movies from the usb stick as a local share in Kodi everything is OK. What seems to be the problem here? Thanks in advance.

Your information was enough to reproduce the issue, Kodi is not able to share via uPnP some sources that require authentication (ftp in your case but also http and their secure variants, ...).
No need to create an issue on github since I could repro and will submit a fix for review.

What a pitty. I was hoping I would be able to watch my movies that way because I can't install neither Plex nor Kodi on my tv. Thank you very much for your quick reply.

Fix was submitted, waiting for review and merge.
In the meantime you can share to Kodi with a different protocol like smb, or remove authentication from ftp if you have the option.
