Hi There
I have a very strange issues with the kodi player and accessing media on LAN/NAS on a google chromecast.
I have installed a chromecast with tv 4K, and it works via the wifi.
Then i have downloaded kodi and installed it. Latest version 20.2.
Then i want to access media on the local LAN from a NAS
So i want to add media in the library, using SMB, but when i try do that and enter the Device an error pops displaying "Operation is not allowed"
I know for at fact that the network settings on the NAS is correct, due to the fact that i have a elder Sunvell T95z plus android tv-box, where it works perfectly.
So i dont believe it's a network setting, but rather in Kodi/chromecast.
I am in the process of switching from the T95z tv-box to a chrome cast for the 4K and wireless features.
Anyone have any experience regarding this, or perhaps solved it, or i am just out of luck using the chromecast ?
Regards Balkir
