I have some 'dumb' AV equipment that I need to power-up when the system starts and then hit a sequence of buttons every time I want to use my media centre. Can't use CEC.
Really I want to just plug in some IR blaster to the mediacentre and have it fire them out automatically on boot / shutdown. I searched around the forum for infrared but I couldn't find anything relevent.
Is this really such a niche issue - or am I searching for the wrong thing? Or maybe trying to go about this the wrong way.
