Hi there.

So I have had no issues using IPTV channels up until recently. I used IPTV Merge and Simple IPTV to set it up a few months back and then a couple of weeks ago it
started crashing whenever I tried to watch an IPTV channel. It does not matter which channel I choose it shows the loading wheel and then the program just crashes.

When I look at the Windows Event Viewer I can see an Application error with MSVCP140.dll at every crash.
There are also a bunch of .DMP Crash log files in the Kodi folder but can't seem to read them in notepad.

Hopefully there is enough info here to get started on a solution, if not I will endeavor to get more

I don't have the answer, but I have your same exact problem. Like in your case, windows event viewer says that the error was caused by kodi application when using MSVCP140.dll module.

...everything was working fine up until a couple of weeks ago.

I mostly use WLTV Helper addon to watch online streaming TV channels. I noticed that it crashes when trying to launch most of the channels, but not all. For instance I can watch the italian "TV8"channel, but trying to launch "RAI1" and most of the other channels makes kodi crash just at the point in which the streaming video should start to play.

Please try installing the latest visual c++ runtime from Microsoft (or accept the runtime install offered by a Kodi nightly installer after June 21st).
