Hi

I just downloaded Kodi v21 Omage. It says it requires OS X 10.13 or higher... When I try to run it, it says it requires Mac OS 10.14 or later.

Is the support for 10.13 gone? Or is this an error of some kind?

I have a Mac from 2011 that mostly use for Kodi and it can't run Mac OS 10.14 :/

no, Omega requires 10.14. Looks like website wasn't updated to reflect that.

you can try using OCLP to install 10.14 on your machine.

Well... I have finally successfully installed Sonoma and the newest version of Kodi It seems to be working - now I will try it out for a while and see how it works

This has nothing to do with Kodi:

Basically, the OCLP installer did not make a working USB for me. It seems to be broken or something. I tried different versions of Mac OS and tried before and after a complete reinstall of the Mac, but every time that install started and then failed in the middle because of a corrupt installer.

I used the command from Apple to make a working USB installer: "sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sonoma.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MYVOLUME". This seems to give a working bootable USB

I then did the OCLP "Build and Install OpenCore" over the USB installer afterwards and was able to finally complete the install

The full story involves downloading all kinds of versions of Mac OS, having huge problem reinstalling the original Mac OS after wiping the disk, because Apple doesn't really support reinstalling High Sierra any more etc. etc. etc. So it pretty much took the weekend to complete But if I hadn't used OCLP "Create MacOS installer" that doesn't work, it would have been pretty easy.
