Hi All,

I ran into an issue downloading Kodi on step son's Xbox Series X. I was able to reproduce the issue on mine as well:

Hangs at 3.09 MB
Message asking if you want to install on Internal Storage pops up (which is weird since we both have a ton of space)
Choose Internal Storage
Hangs at 6.18 MB
Second Kodi is added to queue
First Kodi drops off queue
Repeats from start

I got past this by choosing External Storage to "free space" and then simply cancelled right back out.

Kodi will sit at 6.18 MB for a bit, but will eventually finish downloading at that point.

Not sure if this is a known issue, but hopefully this saves someone a bit of a headache.

Maybe Microsoft servers are saturated or you need full restart Xbox or your router.

Nothing related to Kodi.

Sure, it may not be a Kodi issue, but it affects people downloading Kodi on an Xbox. Having the same issue on 2 is rather strange. The first try was on my step son's yesterday afternoon. I decided to try on mine to see if the same thing happened and it did. Other software downloaded immediately with no issue. We were trying to get the NAS share to show up so he downloaded Media Player and that downloaded immediately with no issues.

Same here, even after factory reset the xbox, after install, Kodi Remote Control can't access kodi, there is something weird going on

It happened the same to me, not downloading after 3 days of frustration just cancel the free space prompt and it started downloading... and remote control not working exclusively on xbox
