Whats your thoughts on zimaboard 832 as an travel kodi box? I have a Nvidia Shield tv (cylinder) now, but it pisses me off that it crashes on rar play. Have googled, but hasn't found anyone mention kodi and zimaboard.

Intel HD500 from 2015, not very high-end.

$200 https://shop.zimaboard.com/products/zima...al-edition
for a 2016 CPU/GPU combo that is at End of Servicing Lifetime as of June 30, 2023 (1.5 years ago) https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...tions.html

that's a hard pass given all the other not old options (some for half that price) https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=376035

1. cylinder shield is known as the worst already
2. just extract your rars, why is that so hard?

sort of lost me on this point, zimaboard is X86 so you won't get any apps on it
(except those cross compiled for a weird AOSP android x86 which nobody really releases apps for, certainly not kodi)

Centos is build on debian I think, so could install any linux software on it. I've just seen zimaboard a few days ago so don't know too much about it.
