Hi,
I have a Synology NAS with videos mapped via NFS to Kodi on both a Firestick 3rd gen (non-4k) and a Firestick 4K Max. It plays solidly on the 3rd gen stick, but I have issues with some content hanging while using the 4K Max. I'm using an ethernet connection on both devices. Has this been discussed before and/or are there any settings recommendations?
Thanks.

The log file is 3.8 MB. Do I upload it in 3 parts?
Thanks.

Has anyone had a chance to take a look at the log yet?
Thanks!

Hopefully somebody can find the problem in your log, but your problem sounds exactly like the problem I (and others) have had with the 4K Max, but I was using wifi. Others have said the 4K Max works fine with ethernet, which you are using, and yet you seem to be having the exact same problem. I have no experience using the 4K Max with ethernet since my solution was to get a non-Max firestick and continue using wifi. (Is it possible that the ethernet cable to your firestick is not working and the device is falling back to wifi?)

By the way, you might try playing the problem video with VLC on the 4K Max. In my case, the video froze in exactly the same place with VLC, so the problem was definitely with the 4K Max and not Kodi.

Yeah, I've had similar problems using Plex, but I can't say for sure it was in exactly the same place. Both the 4K and 4K Max are giving me issues. Regular streaming services (Netflix, Disney, Prime, etc.) seem to be fine however.
