Hi Folks,

XBMC crashes for me in vista, in the log i can see i have opengl 1.1 wich from reading the forums is unsufficiant, i have an AIT radeon 9250 and am unable to find any drivers better than i have so i am looking at upgrading my graphics card at the lowest price possible for something that will run XBMC without issue.

I have a standard old style analoge monitor connecter on my TV and am looking to watch HD content at 720p, my cuurent card looks great connected up but just no XBMC so still using the old xbox, without HD

i am using a shuttle PC SB51G so only have AGP cards as an option (PCI slot is in use)

any advice on what budget cards are available that would suit my needs new or used would be most appreciated!!

For the graphics card: just bought a GF 8500GT Silent.

I do not have any problems after exchanging the card.
Had many problems with my old ATI card before.
