i have just installed xbmc on my machine, i have been using xbmp for quite a while. my sme server didn't let me use smb shares with xbmp so i had xbms installed. it works great with xbmp but i am having no luck with xbmc.

here is a section of my xml
<bookmark>
<name>borg images xbms</name>
<path>xbms://borg:1400/images</path>
</bookmark>
i have tried ip addresses to no avail all i get is a single icon that lets me go back.

anyone like to shed a little light on this for me.

it should read xns, not xbms. you should also try with ip address instead of netbios name

ps! make sure you updated to xbms 0.30.6.2 (from 04/10-2003)
