Hi,
I have an asus A8NE-FM/S motherboard which has a s/pdif output on the rear i/o panel. There are no s/pdif sockets/pins on the motherboard that I can see.
I've just purchased a 9400GT card for this motherboard which support s/pdif input to allow audio over hdmi.
Question: Is it possible to loop the s/pdif output from the rear i/o to the 9400gt input? I'm happy to lash a cable up if needs be.
Picture of rear panel i/o showing s/pdif in centre:
9400 card I've bought comes with cable:

TIA,
