Hello,

I was hoping for some advice. I have an old computer with an intel D101GGC motherboard, 3ghz processor and 1 1/2 gb RAM.

I am looking to turn this into an XBMC and wanted some thoughts on this, I will need to get an graphics card with HDMI that will support audio. Looking for something cheap and no tricky configuration.

Any help is appreciated.

If you are getting a new card, get a nvidia card and you will be able to use vdpau and will be able to play hd content on that machine.

You can pick up a 9400 for about $40

Think I have settled on this:

it has nvidia chipset with integrated audio so no need for spfid connection.

Going to purchase it tonight unless anyone can see a problem.
