freedb is down at the moment so when i try to get info on a cd i get socket error and then it hangs... thougt you should know..

you can disable cddb lookups in setup until freedb is back online

hi,
for cddb , the ip adress available is 64.71.163.204 , it works fine but xbox hangs when xbmc goes to the next track.

huh? cddb doesnt have anything 2do with going 2 the next track. cddb is only used when 'loading the directory''
not when playing.
can you explain whats not working?

i get that too.
when a freedb lookup fail and i get a " no socket" message it
continues to play first song on the cd. but when it goes to second song it hangs.

i precise that cddb works perfectly with the original cdda of the trade. on the other hand the problem that i announce in my previous message occurs with the cdda made from files mp3 or other. it seems that in this case research cddb is carried out for each track.
