I built a little HTPC for my father-in-law and I'm trying to keep everything as simple as possible.

I have XBMC Live Dharma RC installed along with:

sabnzbd (installed via apt-get) running as user "xbmc"

couchpotato (installed via git clone)
sickbeard (installed via git clone)

both of the above are running as root because setting the user to =xbmc breaks the init.d startup scripts for some reason.

now the post-processing won't work because the files created by sab don't have the right permissions.

What am I missing?
