I have a quick question regarding movie information. I have a bluray rip of a movie in .mkv container. The metadata information are all stored in .nfo file per the mediainfo. When I import the movie, the information are displayed correctly (1080p, vc1, 5.1 dts-ma,16:9,bluray disc). However, when I start to play the movie, the information changes (dts-ma becomes dts, 16:9 becomes 2.2).
What is the reason behind this? Is there anyway to have it always read the .nfo file.

There was a good post from the Devs once on how metadata is scanned. One thing I remember was it can/will update your metadata after playback...95% of the time nothing will change but there's probably like a 5% chance what a 3rd party app registers is different from how XBMC will scan.

So it's an XBMC thing not a skin issue...
