First off utterly *wonderful* that XMBC is ported to IOS. Couldn't be happier.

iPad running 4.2.1, Redsnow jailbreak.

Managed to add shares to my video and photo storage on my terrastation.

Movies work absolutely fine (which I confess was something of a surprise)

Photos, OTOH, just will not display.

This is either if I use the SMB share, or the uPNP server.
The directories are visible.
The files are visible
Thumbnails are never generated, and selecting a specific file simply results in a black screen.

This happens with all my pictures, and is a tad annoying.

All the music and videos (stored on the same server) is totally fine.

Any ideas?

Same spec as mine. I wonder if that's important.

That almost sounds like a permissions issue.
