Hello,

I was hoping to get some advice or alternatives to what I would like to accomplish.

I currently use Windows 2008 and TED (http://www.ted.nu/download.php) to download shows. I would like to move my Windows machine to FreeNAS. My only concern is what tool do I use to download the shows? I know FreeNAS has a bittorrent client but I would have to manually add the torrent files. Is there something more dynamic I could use?

There is an RSS Extension for Transmission (for FreeNAS). You can find the forum thread.

It works fairly well. I would also recommend SickBeard and SABnxbd+ (you can install those packages on FreeNAS).
